Linkerr is built around trust. Our goal is to help people make better career decisions through AI-guided planning, real-world insights, and trusted conversations with people who have already walked the path. This policy is designed to support that trust by explaining our data practices in plain language.

This Privacy Policy is under review by our attorneys and may be updated when that review completes.

2.Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Services, including information about Individuals, Experts, Enterprise Customer users, sponsored program participants, visitors, applicants, and other people who interact with Linkerr.

6.AI Features, Conversation Intelligence, and Automated Processing

Linkerr may use AI and machine learning to power the AI Career Strategist, career planning, expert matching, search, recommendations, conversation preparation, notes, summaries, next steps, content moderation, support tools, analytics, and other features.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, non-unique, or unsuitable for your situation. Users should review and verify AI outputs before relying on them. Linkerr does not use AI outputs as a substitute for legal, financial, medical, immigration, or other regulated professional advice.

  • We may process prompts, inputs, outputs, edits, feedback, profile information, marketplace interactions, and conversation materials to provide AI Features.
  • We may use automated and human review to monitor abuse, improve quality, troubleshoot issues, enforce policies, and protect safety.

7.How We Share Personal Information

We share personal information only as needed to provide the Services, operate marketplace features, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or with your consent. Sharing may include:

  • With other users when you interact through the Services, such as when an Individual books an Expert, sends a message, posts content, joins a group session, or leaves a review.

  • With your consent or at your direction, including when you connect third-party services or ask us to share information.

Public content, private conversations, and limited access

Information you choose to make public, such as public profile information, Expert bios, public insights, public posts, comments, testimonials, and public reviews, may be visible to other users, visitors, search tools, and promotional surfaces depending on settings and product design.

Private conversation content, private messages, private career plans, non-public transcripts, AI notes, and private attachments are treated as non-public by default. Linkerr may access, process, share, or disclose such information only as needed to provide the Services, facilitate the conversation, generate requested AI notes or summaries, operate support and safety processes, resolve disputes, process payments, comply with law, enforce agreements, or with consent or direction.

Private information may still be shared with service providers that support hosting, video, transcription, AI, customer support, analytics, payments, security, and other operations under contractual restrictions.

If you participate in an enterprise or sponsored program, some participation and program administration data may be shared with the sponsor as described in program notices, order forms, or this Privacy Policy.

8.Enterprise and Sponsored Conversation Privacy

Linkerr may offer enterprise career pathways, employer-branded career rooms, sponsored conversations, workforce programs, school partnerships, and other sponsored programs. We will identify the sponsor or Enterprise Customer where appropriate before you participate.

The type of information shared with an Enterprise Customer depends on the program, your choices, applicable law, and the program terms. We design enterprise reporting to protect user trust and to avoid turning private career exploration into hidden candidate screening.

Information that may be shared: name, email, program eligibility, participation status, pathways viewed, conversation credits used, bookings, attendance, completion status, survey responses, and other program administration information, where permitted.

Aggregated or de-identified insights: common questions, pathway interest, skill gaps, engagement metrics, geographic or cohort trends, and other insights that do not reasonably identify a user.

Conversation content: private conversation recordings, transcripts, messages, or AI notes are not shared with an Enterprise Customer unless the user receives clear notice and consents, the program is structured to allow that sharing, or sharing is otherwise permitted by applicable law and program terms.

Employment decisions: Enterprise Customers are responsible for complying with employment, anti-discrimination, privacy, education, and consumer protection laws if they use Linkerr information in connection with recruiting or hiring.

9.Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, SDKs, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, keep users signed in, measure usage, improve performance, detect fraud, personalize content, and support marketing.

You can control cookies through browser settings and, where available, Linkerr cookie preferences. Blocking cookies may affect how the Services work. We may use analytics providers to understand how users interact with the Services.

Advertising and cookie choices

If Linkerr uses retargeting pixels, advertising cookies, analytics tags, mobile identifiers, or similar technologies, users may have choices through browser settings, device settings, cookie preference tools, unsubscribe links, industry opt-out tools, or privacy rights requests. Blocking cookies may affect certain features.

If we engage in targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, or a sale or sharing of personal information as defined by applicable privacy laws, we will provide required notices and opt-out mechanisms, such as a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link and our Your Privacy Choices page, where required.

Opt-out preference signals: where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device that sends the signal.

Do Not Track: except where an opt-out preference signal is legally recognized as an opt-out request, the Services do not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

Linkerr may continue to use necessary cookies and similar technologies for security, authentication, fraud prevention, preferences, analytics, service operations, and legal compliance.

10.Payment, Tax, and Verification Information

Payments and payouts may be processed by third-party payment processors. Those processors may collect, store, and process payment card information, bank account information, tax forms, identity verification information, billing details, and transaction information according to their own terms and policies.

Linkerr may receive limited payment, payout, fraud, tax, and transaction information needed to operate paid features, issue refunds, prevent abuse, comply with law, and support users.

11.Communications Preferences

We may contact you by email, in-product messages, push notifications, SMS, phone, or other methods for service-related, security, administrative, transactional, product, marketing, and support purposes. You may opt out of promotional communications by using unsubscribe links or settings, but you may continue to receive service, legal, security, payment, and account communications.

12.Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, support conversations, process payments and taxes, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain security, and support legitimate business purposes.

Retention periods may vary by data type. For example, account data may be retained while an account is active; transaction, tax, and compliance records may be retained longer; support and trust and safety records may be retained as needed; backups may persist for a limited period; and de-identified or aggregated data may be retained longer where permitted by law.

Examples of retention by data type

  • Public posts, public reviews, Expert insights, profile content, and marketplace listings may remain visible until removed by the user, removed by Linkerr, or the account is closed, subject to backups, legal needs, program records, and copies already shared or cached.
  • Private messages, transcripts, AI notes, summaries, and Conversation Materials may be retained while needed for user access, support, dispute resolution, product settings, trust and safety, legal compliance, or legitimate business purposes.
  • Support records, safety reports, moderation decisions, fraud signals, chargeback materials, tax records, transaction records, invoices, and payout records may be retained longer where needed for compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, security, and enforcement.
  • De-identified, aggregated, or privacy-protective analytics may be retained for product improvement, marketplace insights, AI quality, security, and research where permitted by law.

13.Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Safeguards may include access controls, encryption in transit, vendor review, monitoring, logging, security testing, and policies for handling personal information.

No internet or electronic service is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and promptly notifying Linkerr if you suspect unauthorized access.

If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify affected users and regulators as required by applicable law.

14.Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information; opt out of certain processing; withdraw consent; limit the use of sensitive personal information; appeal a decision; or file a complaint with a regulator.

You may exercise rights by contacting privacy@linkerr.ai. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some requests may limit or prevent use of certain Services. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights as prohibited by applicable law.

  • Marketing controls: you may opt out of promotional emails using unsubscribe links.
  • Cookies: you may control cookies through browser settings and any available cookie controls.
  • AI and conversation features: product settings may allow you to control recording, transcription, AI notes, or certain AI processing where available and required by law.

United States state privacy rights: residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to access, correct, delete, and receive a copy of personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale or sharing of personal information, and certain profiling. Where required, we provide a way to appeal a decision on a privacy request. You can exercise these rights by contacting privacy@linkerr.ai or through our Your Privacy Choices page.

Authorized agents and verification

Where applicable law allows an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf, Linkerr may require proof of authorization, verification of the agent, and verification of your identity before acting on the request.
